My love for sewing came to me from my grandmother who taught me how to sew on her Singer treadle sewing maching. She also taught me how to embroider, but I loved the sewing machine. It was faster! That was a long time ago.

I am a Fiber Artist, a retired R.N. and a grandmother. Today I sew on a state-of-the-art electric sewing machine and a giant longarm quilting machine.

My work embodies female energy, images, abstracts, colors and shapes that inspire me. I do mostly non-traditional quilting. I enjoy exploring, breaking the rules and being open to the unexpected. This freedom brings about many surprises. When I知 doing my art I知 dancing a Sacred Dance!

In my free time I enjoy knitting, beading, making jewelry, hiking, golfing, traveling around the world and daily yoga.
